Barbera d'Alba is ruby red in colour with orange-peel highlights, the taste is soft and velvety, the aromas are full and intense yet delicate, ranging in different fragrances and aromas. A total immersion in Piedmontese tradition, perfect to accompany first courses and meat and game dishes.

Production area: mid-hill 350 msl, Vergne Narzole; southeast - southwest exposure.
Plant: vineyard planted in 1940.
Terrain: marl-tufo-clay typical of the Langa.
Cultivation system: Guyot.
Harvest time: end of September - beginning of October.
Type of vinification: traditional fermentation.
Ageing: 12 months in steel casks.
Refinement: in bottle 6/12 months: excellent ready-to-drink and aged.
Colour: ruby red with orange highlights.
Perfumes: black cherries, violets, berries and spices.
Flavour: soft and smooth, with excellent consistency, full-bodied and low acidity.
Gastronomic pairings: risottos, tagliatelle, game and red meats, mature cheeses and Piedmontese gastronomy.
Service: served at 18° after being uncorked if possible for at least 2 hours and aerated in a carafe/decanter and strictly in a crystal goblet.
